Emily Hockaday
Author of five chapbooks, Emily's poetry has appeared on NPR in the hit show Radiolab, with the innovative series Emotive Fruition, and in a number of journals. 

She is an experienced editor available for freelance projects.

Space on Earth, Emily's fourth chapbook, will be released on March 20th, 2019 from Grey Book Press. Launch party will be Saturday, March 23rd at Lithology Brewing in Farmingdale, LI at 2:00 p.m.

Beach Vocabulary, Emily's fifth chapbook, will be out later this year from Red Bird Chapbooks. Poems from the forthcoming collection can be found at Cosmonaut's Avenue, MoonChild, the Collapsar, and Calamus Journal.

Emily Alta Hockaday is a poet living in Queens. She has three chapbooks of poetry out--What We Love and Will Not Give Up (Dancing Girl Press), Starting a Life (Finishing Line Press), and Ophelia: A Botanist's Guide (Zoo Cake Press). Her work has appeared in NPR's show Radiolab and in a number of literary journals including the North American Review, Spoon River Poetry Review, West Wind Review, and Newtown Literary. For a full list of publications, see the publications page.
